With the skills I have obtained through my general education courses while working at a school has been used for example understanding that each and every student is different and learns differently from other students so making sure I don't look at each student as being on the same level. Another example would be creating games for my students to become more involved in the classroom activities to gain a better understanding and comprehension of the material in the curriculum that I'm teaching to the class. Using these skills in my classes have helped me to become better at my work and understanding of each student by working diligently with each of them.

I initially searched on Career Builder for the position I am transitioning into however, I had no such luck in tracking down the exact field. Once I moved over to Monster, the field popped right up. To reiterate my initial introduction post, I have been in the Marine Corps for 21 years and I am looking at retirement in the near future. My goal has been to become an Information Technology manger (Manager Systems Engineering) with the company Northrop Grumman. I have always been amazed at the products and overall performance this company presents to the military and the public. The most important portion of my desire to work for the company is the interworking of the team building and pride in employment they have created. In other words, they have built a work environment filled with family and friends rather than employees
