This method may be seen outdated and gone out of style but that assumption couldn't be any worse. These banner ads create awareness and facilitate inquiries to prospective customers. The banner ads have advantages as they can be targeted to certain demographics.

Although at times this method can be interpreted wrong by the media. This method is very effective to reaching many customers. This is achieved by getting a wide audience and creating the relevant content for your followers who when the ties are strengthened between the company and them, they gain trust and might bring other customers in your direction. Engaging with the followers makes them feel special and have more trust in your company.KFC Malaysia has not been using this method but with the competition from McDonalds who engage with their customers on social media have tried to venture into this to boost its sales.

KFC Malaysia has been doing sales promotion organizing events such as sweepstakes and lucky draws, as customers tend to be attracted to lucky draws and sweepstakes. Customers in general are attracted to discounts and by doing this more customers will be captured by KFC Malaysia.
BRAND FOCUS.
KFC Malaysia has been using brand focus to represent the corporate brand identity. This method has been doing great brand positioning in the market as customers would prefer buying from the company even in the existence of competition from other companies dealing with the same products. This has also helped the company get more sales but this can be improved by advertising their products more. The company can also try to slash their price at a certain percentage to get more customers attracted to the brand.
