Psychology touches every area of our lives. You may not realize it, but you use or encounter psychology almost every day. The field of psychology is continually developing and changing.

Write a 500-700-word paper about some of the major theorists and their role in the history of psychology. Include the following in your paper:

• A title page
• The definition of psychology
• A description of the basic principles of behaviorism
• A description of the basic principles of humanism
• A description of two key historical events between 1849 and 1990 in which behaviorism impacted the field of psychology. Include the name of the theorist involved in the event and the details of the experiment and/or research they were conducting.
• At least two references on a reference page (one being the book, and an outside scholarly source) and accompanying in-text citations when the references are used
