PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL LAW

Razz a sovereign State (a member of the United Nations General Assembly) that is found in the northern part of Africa is rich in gold and oil. In an attempt to seize control of Razz, Fedora another sovereign State (a member of the United Nations Security Council) sieged major cities, government buildings, schools and maternity wards. Consequently, thousands of Razzians are now displaced, women and children are being raped, other civilians are now dying, many are tortured, and others are being enslaved, many soldiers are now wounded, and the basic standard of living has depreciated because of the horrors of the war. In addition, the invasion has since claimed 3582 lives of civilians and created several refugees.

Some of the UN member States are starting to impose economic sanctions on Fedora, whilst, some are also sending weapons to Razz as a way of fighting the forceful invasion of Razz. On the other hand, the Security Council and General Assembly of the UN have condemned the invasion and urged a peace agreement to ensure a ceasefire and withdrawal of troops from Razz. In particular, some recent developments have resulted in Fedora being suspended from the United Nations Human Rights Council, after the General Assembly reached a two-thirds majority vote, in practice, 93 Member States voted for Fedora's suspension, 23 Member States voted against its suspension and 58 Members abstained from voting.
