Publiqa Sdn Bhd is suffering from financial difficulties in the past six years. Most of its corporate cheques returned unpaid due to insufficient cash flow. The board then proposed a closing down of the business when they discovered that the company recently cannot even meet its monthly overhead cost. A general meeting was called a month ago to decide on the winding up of the company, most of the members disagreed as they felt that the situation was not that bad. The board, however, was of the view that the conditions may deteriorate in the future if they did not dissolve the company.
