Purification: Drying Crystals: Order Steps 1-4 Obtain enough acetone from the fume hood to wash the crystals twice. Take the buchner funnel used during filtration to the fume hood. Place crystals in a clean, pre-weighed amber bottle to obtain the mass of crystals formed and store for future use. Turn the vacuum on and wash the crystals twice with about 15mL of acetone. Dispose of the acetone in the waste bottle in the fume hood
