Step 2:Finish an inspection of the gym or fitness facility to locate at least three (3) hazards. List the hazards identified within your Risk Register.

Step 3:Once the three (3) hazards have been identified assess the risk of each by reviewing the below tables within the Risk Register to determine the:

  • Severity of impact
  • Likelihood of occurrence
  • Level of risk (Risk Rating)

Finish this process for each of the three (3) hazards identified.

Step 4:Next, detail how you might control these risks identified within the final section of your Risk Register. Include:

  • The control method you've chosen e.g. elimination, substitution, PPE etc.
  • Provide further details on the control method and how it will eliminate or reduce the risk. You may include who is responsible for actioning this.
  • A realistic date by which the control measure would be implemented.
