By selecting a medical condition and a prevention goal (primary, secondary, or tertiary) you will learn and practice the application of these terms and concepts toward the benefit of yourself, your family, your social group, and even your community.

Compose a detailed outline of a primary or secondary prevention proposal for a selected medical condition. For example, a primary prevention approach to dental care could involve check-ups every 6 months. A secondary prevention proposal could involve monthly self-examination screening for breast cancer. In your proposal consider marketing, motivational, and incentive parameters. Next, compose a 3-5 minute video presentation of the proposal to the Board of Directors of a potential funding source. Be sure to address how you would apply your chosen level of prevention at individual, local/community, and national/global levels.
