In Week 1, you watched a video (see below) that explored the connection between the creation narrative in Genesis and work. Throughout this course, you have been invited to pay close attention to your experience of work, taking note of moments of toil, burden, fulfillment or joy.

Compose a essay reflecting on your experience with this practice. The only grading criteria for this assignment will be whether or not you were on topic (i.e. grammar and formatting will not be graded).

• How did you experience work as toilsome and what might this say about you understand yourself?
• What do moments of joy or gratitude indicate about how you are wired?
• How do you see your work differently as a result of these practices of presence?
• How does the creation narrative of work shape your understanding and experience of work?
