Purpose: The purpose of this assessment is to help learners interpret and critically analyse the role that members of a team play in the development of a group dynamic within an organisation and apply the principles of organisational behaviour to enhance that dynamic. This assessment will also enable learners to reason and draw links between concepts learned in the unit. Description: This report (+/-10%) analyses an organisation (any organisation of your choice from anywhere in the world as long as it is able to be found online) by reviewing how team structure, team dynamic and individual member behaviours are likely to affect team success and development. It does this through applying a range of theoretical analytical frameworks. The assessment aims at developing learner skills to explain and apply the rationale for group work to an organisational setting and to describe key components of an effective, ethical group dynamic and process in an applied business context with the goal of improving organisational performance. Topics to be covered: Knowledge and skills from weeks 1 to 4, with emphasis on the identification of possible strategic issues for a firm and the application of basic strategy analysis to its market
