The purpose of this assignment is to enhance learner$$s knowledge about digital security and prevention measures.

REQUIREMENT

Nowadays, the world we are living intertwined with digital world. With the digital world increasingly becoming the norms of living, the aspect of digital threat should not be taken lightly. The risk from digital threat can be in many forms and ways especially in education industry. Awareness and prevention measure will help us to minimise the risk.

Based on your learning experience as OUM learners, discuss about digital security which contains the following information:

a$)$ Introduction about digital security and describe its importance.

b$)$ Explain at least TWO types of security attacks you have experienced before.

c$)$ Discuss the prevention measures that you have taken to overcome the digital security threat in your learning process. The discussions must be from YOUR own experience $($DO NOT copy from other sources$).$ Identify the applications involved and explain with screenshots from your own laptop or computer, how your practice preventive measures when:

i$)$ Browsing the Internet to search for information for your assignment

ii$)$ Downloading and opening files from OUM portal

iii$)$ Sharing files with your tutor or specific classmates $($either using email or cloud storage sharing features$)$

d$)$ Discuss the impact of digital security in your learning process. How prevention measures and awareness helped you in learning more effectively?
