Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to ensure students have a knowledge and ability to manage change within an organization.

Assignment Description: You are currently the warden/superintendent of the Plainfield Correctional Facility. Historically speaking, officers at this facility have worked 8 hour shifts/5 days a week. After conducting research, you have decided it would be best for the facility to change to 12 hour shifts/3 days a week. This will be a big change for your officers and you want to make sure to have a plan in place to most effectively roll this out.

Thinking back to this week's course materials, make a plan for implementing this change. Think about the eight factors to guide change (below) that we learned about this week when developing your plan.
