Context: Theories of monopoly and oligopoly say these industries are inefficient and transfer income from consumers to producers (Ch 12, pages 237-240, Ch 14, p. 274). Consider a frequent tool of oligopolist tool--advertising (Ch. 14, pp. 272-273).

The Government should introduce regulations to reduce the level of advertising because it is an inefficient use of resources and/or is unfairly manipulative of consumers.

Task: Makeone substantive but succinct post to the Activity 10: Economic Arguments. Argueeither for or against the statement above. Make an argument with at least two points or elements. One of those can be a social justice or fairness point

Criteria: make a convincing economic argument consisting offiveshort,separateparagraphs (ii, iii., and iv. can be in any order):
