Australia should not increase the size of its nuclear arsenal. The exorbitant amount of money required to do so would be far better spent on healthcare or education. But more importantly, acquiring more nuclear weapons only increases the overall risk of nuclear conflict, as it incentivises other countries to acquire nuclear weapons themselves.
