Q. 2 On 1 January 2017. Daud Ltd has purchased a building classified as investment property. The price at which building is purchases Rs. 5.5 million, however, transaction cost incurred on the purchase of building is of Rs. 100,000. The carrying value of the building at the date of purchase is Rs. 300,000. It is expected that the useful life of building will be 50 years. When revaluation was carried out at reporting date, it is seen that fair value of the building has increased Rs. 1.3 million. Required: As per IAS 40, record the transaction in the accounts of Daud Ltd using both valuation models
