Q1. Ms cantik is newcomer to the music industry in Malaysia .she promotes her songs online and writes her own songs. She intends to record her first album called my first song and still searching for the right companyto manager her career and produce her first album. She has no experience and would like to appoint amanager to manage her career path and her album.

En.bijak her uncle who brought her up and took care of her, suggested his friend , mr jap from bulan recording sdn bhd (BPSB) En. Bijak arranged a meeting between mr.jap and ms cantik to discuss this matter.

Mr.jap informed ms.cantik that he has wast experience of 10 years in the music industry in malysia and 5 years in the music industry in Malaysia and 5 years in Taiwan and has managed various singers from different contries. Mr jap suggested himself to be ms cantiks managers and en.bijak conviced ms cantik to choose mr jap . ms cantik agrees to appoint mr jap to be her manager and BPSB to produce her first album before the agreement is executed mr japwould often visit ms cantik at home and advice her whenever she asked for his opinion. Mr.jap as the manager has started to plan the career path for ms cantik.

One of the terms of the agreement is the firs contract was for period of three years, with an option for two further periods of one year each.exercisable at the direction of BPSB. Other terms of the contract are pertaining to choice of genre of songs to be decided by BPSB.

There is no mention anywhere MS cantic will be involved in the selectionof songs to be inserted in the album. MS cantic has not been given the time to read up the contact before she signed it upas mr jap needs to rush for the next appointment. Mr.jap urged ms cantik to sign the agreement and if she refuse , BPSB would offer the deal to someone else , ms cantik immediately signed the agreement.

Now MS cantic discovers the unclear terms and would like to rescind the contract advise her whether she could take action against En. bijak, mr jap and BPSB
