Q1: Report the causal impact of various 3 antidepressants on remission of symptoms. Read about the STAR*D study protocol.These data include antidepressants the patient took, comorbidities and gender at baseline, and remission of symptoms.

• We ask that you select 2 antidepressants and repeat this analysis for each antidepressant:
• Create data sets for each antidepressant (variable Concat in the data).A combination of two antidepressant is considered a third antidepressant.
• These data include the patient several times, if the patient received different combinations of antidepressants over time.Group By Concat and ID variable to remove the weekly data. If the patient has ever received the antidepressant, then indicate it as 1 and 0 otherwise.
• Identify the parents in the Markov Blanket of each antidepressant.You can use main effect ordinary regression or main effect logistic regression to do.You can assume that any variable that has a statistically significant relationship with receiving the antidepressant is a parent to the antidepressant.
• Stratify parents of antidepressant and calculate the unconfounded impact of antidepressant on remission.
• Repeat the analysis for at least 2 antidepressants.
• Among the antidepressants you have analyzed, which one is most effective for a male patient with PTSD and neurological disorder and no other disorder.
