Q1. Suppose you are designing a combinational logic circuit for a car alarm system. Consider the car has the following sensors to ensure safety of the passengers:

a) A Seat belt sensor (SB) which outputs a logic 1 if any of the four seat belts are not fastened while the passenger is on the seat. Otherwise, SB outputs a logic 0.

b) A Door lock sensor (DL) which outputs a logic 1 if any of the four doors are open. Otherwise, DL outputs a logic 0.

c) A car seat sensor (CS) which outputs a logic 1 if the baby is on the car seat and the car seat belt is fastened. Otherwise, CS outputs a logic 0. Assume, If the baby is on the car seat the parents always fastened the car seat belt.

d) A temperature sensors (TS) outputs a logic 1 if the temperature is too hot or too cold. Otherwise, TS outputs a logic zero.

e) An ignition sensor (IS) outputs a logic 1 if the car engine is ON. Otherwise, IS outputs a logic zero.

f) A car window sensor (CW) which outs a logic 1 if any of the four windows is open. Otherwise, CW outputs a logic 0.

Using the sensors (i.e. SB, DL, CS, TS, IS, and CW) output data, write down a safety protocol that will turn on the car alarm when the safety protocol is compromised. Also, write down the Boolean function of your safety protocol and draw the corresponding digital logic circuit that will implement the safety protocol.
