Q1 The Mukhaizna Oil Field is an oilfield in Al Wusta Governorate, Oman. Its production is nearly 120.000 barrels per day (19.0785 m3/d). The Mukhaizna field, (MKN) located in Oman was discovered in the seventies. It is a multi-pay zone heavy oil reservoir deposited at a depth of 2600-2800 ft. Crude oil API gravity is around 1600 cp. It was not until early 2000, after the crude oil prices rose to favorable levels, that a concerted effort was made to develop all heavy oil in the region.
