Q13 (a) How can the actual flow rate be measured using an orificementer? Explain with necessary schematic diagrams and mathematical formulations. (b) Water is being pumped from a tank at a rate of 50 l/s as shown in Figure. The pump delivers 9 kW of power to the flow. find (i) the pressure at points (2) and (3) considering no loss. (ii) the pressure at point (3) if a total loss equal to 2 times the velocity head at point (3). Water (3) 2m 80mm diameter 3.5m -100mm diameter Datum Please solve both of the problem in detail,i badly need its solution .I need the solutions and proofs in detail, sometimes some chegg experts deliver only the processes in a very short way which is very difficult to understand,so i kindly request you to write all the steps and calculations and to draw all the necessary figures. I request you again not to skip any step and the diagrams.
