Calculate the machine fraction for each product and total number of machines for each type for three 8-hour shifts. (Assume that reliability and efficiency of each machine are 98% and 96% respectively.) c. (5 pts.) Comment on the necessity of three working shifts per day based on your machine fraction calculations. Justify your answer. d. (10 pts.)
