The curved plate is moving with a velocity of 7 m/s in the direction of the jet and it is deflected through an angle of 165. Assuming the plate to be smooth. Determine: (i) Force exerted on plate in the direction of jet, (ii) Power of jet, and (iii) Efficiency of jet. OR Q.5 (a) Define following terms for centrifugal pump: 1. Manometric Efficiency 2.
