Q5. Suppose that Router A and Router Bare connected via a 0.3 Mbps link (1 Mbps = 106 bps) and that the length of the link connecting the two routers is 40 meters. Suppose that Router A is in the process of transmitting a packet, and has 5 additional packets in its queue, when a new packet arrives at Router A. Suppose that every packet is composed of L bits. Assume the following. a) 9000 bits of the currently-being-transmitted packet has been transmitted by Router A when the new packet arrives. b) Processing delay of a (whole) packet at a router takes 1 millisecond (i.e., 0.001 secs). c) Propagation speed of a bit over the link connecting the two routers is 2 x 10* meters/sec. Suppose that it took 323 milliseconds (i.e., 0.323 seconds) for the new packet to arrive at Router B since the time it arrived at Router A. Find L, i.e., the number of bits every packet is composed of. Show your work in detail. (12 points)
