QA1: Your project is to save the planet (or your part of it at least) by making the organisation where you work more sustainable. Describe your workplace and at least two strategies to 'get everybody 'on board' and overcome any barriers.

QA2: Describe the general scope and objectives of your project, some of the activities you plan, and who you will allocate them to.

QA3:

(A) Describe at least three sources of information that can help you develop your organisation's sustainability policies.(Internal and external)

(B) As you develop, monitor and improve your organisation's sustainability policies, how can you ensure that you comply with (1) internal and (2) external codes of practice and legislation?

(C) Describe at least two problems that you anticipate might occur during the process.

QA4:

(A) Describe a timeframe for whatever stages are in your design: consultation, design, review, trial, implementation, review, improvement etc.

(B) The cost of sustainability is often raised as an objection. Analyse in detail at least one cost aspect of your proposed sustainability policies. Demonstrate that you know what happens now, and what you propose, and exactly what the associated costs are.

QA5: Describe the process of developing and documenting new policies in your particular organisation. (If there is no current process, write one.)

QA6:

(A) Describe in detail how you will commence the implementation of your project.

(B) Write the paragraph in your procedures manuals that details how a formal 'Continuous Improvement Process' is built into your sustainability policies.

Part B

QB1: Describe at least three modern resources that can support the implementation of your sustainability project, and how you will use them.

QB2: Write brief report to the owners of your organisation explaining how the sustainability project will work and the 6 benefits likely to flow from it.

QB3:

(A) Describe in detail how you will organise yourself and others to implement the project.

(B) Discuss any organisational procedures or legislation that you must follow.

(C) Describe at least three specific goals and how you will evaluate your success.

QB4: Describe a shared, computer-based process that will allow you to track the results of the project, and how you will be able to use the results to improve. (At least one detailed example of each part)

QB5: How will you evaluate the overall outcome of the project? Describe some specific measurable criteria. (At least three)

QB6: Write 'mid-project' email to all stakeholders mentioning the success to date and likely future directions. Be friendly but clear.

QB7: Describe how 'mid-project' you will identify any trends in the results and take action to get back on track. (This can be a hypothetical future problem and solution.)

QB8:

(1) Write the email to the boss explaining how a proposed improvement is needed and will occur.

(2) Write the email to the team explain how the change will take place and 'get them on board'.
