Qestion 1: Identify the natural disaster threats in your geographical location (i.e. earthquake, tornado, etc.)and outline the ways in which you can be prepared to survive them. Put together a disaster preparedness kit for your home (see attachment picture)

• When evaluating a potential event venue, what items would you include in your site inspection checklist regarding emergency preparedness?
• make a chart of the various human and movement factors identified in the second picture attached (Society of Fire Protection) and discuss how these may be incorporated into evacuation planning
• Write evacuation announcements for a variety of causes(i.e. fire, severe weather, etc.) already explained in class

Geological: earthquake, tsunami, volcano avalanche


meteorological: extreme temperature, fire, floods, rain or electrical storms
snow storms
wind storms

 

Question 2: Research current HR practices related to event management, such as employee retention strategies, incentive programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Analyze the effectiveness of these practices and recommend how they could be implemented in their own event planning.
