After listening to him I'm shocked to admit that as for me he is right about the studies and job fulfillement, I like what I'm studying but it's "fine same as yesterday". This man is incredible really convincing and easy to listen to 1 Shocked Emotional Impact
Simon seems funny and witty, and his message is beautiful if you can grasp it and see the implications of it. But it must be hard to see this things with his own eyes, to not be happy about it, and even tougher to try to push this message through a whole generation. I see that struggle in his eyes everytime he makes the audience laugh. That, more than the message alone, is what really got me. 1 Funny, Witty Emotional Impact
I am a millennial, and in my opinion we live in a great era where we have more opportunities than our parents ever had. I refuse the idea to blame them for any of my failures, or wrong turns. They raised us the best they could. Now it is our turn and responsibility to use opportunities of this time. Instead of feeling sorry and blame everyone around, take on and become a professional at something or start your own company if you don't like how they treat you in the one you are at right now. Education is more available than ever, you can learn anything from the internet. Take things as they are, take the responsibility for your actions and one day be an example to your kids that will face the same problems as you do right now. 2 Millennials, Responsibility Nonsense
This guy is great. I've never heard it expressed so clearly, with wit - yet with compassion. 1 Clear Informative
This is incredible. There are a few things that I get from him though, including from his other videos, that are a bit "Gen X" to me. (Which is a little bit Boomer/ old school.) 1 Incredible Informative
I'm a boomer, and this guy just gave me the tools whereby I can understand a generation that is not always depicted correctly in the media. Loved this. 1 Tools Transformative
This almost made me cry. I'm a millennial and this spoke to me deeply. And, I am glad he spoke uninterrupted. 1 Cry Emotional Impact
This is SOOO interesting! So much of what he is saying is resonating. My daughter is a milineal, and I purposefully tried to safeguard against some of these things. I could see these things happening to people years ago. My daughter is 24. She wasn't allowed social media until the age of 17 years old. 1 Interesting Transformative
It's full of wisdom and its really really life changing talk. Thank you sir Simon for sharing your wisdom. 1 Life-Changing Talk Transformative
These are very profound points, and the entitlements are so abundant in all walks of life. In other words, the real hardworking ethic has been task out the windows and replace with benefits. We have to be careful of saying the truth to someone because we do not want to hurt his or her feeling. More importantly, it is not worth being cast on social media platforms or having the parents' phone calls. In all parents has a responsibility to parent, teach, mentor their child in the right way, learning starts at home, and its the parents responsibility to fix these issues before a child goes off into society. Awesome Video... 1 Profound Informative
I can so relate. Just thinking of leaving my job because the leadership is terrible. This has made me rethink my phone, my job and my goals 1 Relatable, Rethink Transformative

So many deep points in this conversation. School should teach more of patience, teamwork and relationships. Imagine if you had a class with Simon Sinek 3 times a week during your years education. I bet your life would be different and better. 1 Deep Points Transformative
This is a very interesting video! I will share it with my English students and ask for their opinion. I am a millenial, but I think it is difficult to define an entire generation, especially when we come from many diverse contexts! 1 Interesting Transformative
I was born in 90 but I find myself affected by the instant gratification part. It creates so much impatience. Phone addiction is very real. I try to stay away from it from time to time, but it's very hard to be honest. Also, If you're ever driving on a busy street with a lot of foot traffic and come to a stop at a red light....the amount of people that are on their phone while walking is ridiculous!!! 1 Instant Gratification Emotional Impact
This guy is amazing. Much respect . I'm 25 and I already quit my first job because I didn't feel satisfied. Only now do I realize that I need to be patient 1 Amazing Transformative
Really well put together....compassionate and understanding 1 Compassionate, Understanding Emotional Impact

I'm a millennial, so I feel identificated with the some thing that he says.I believe that is a really difficult define a group of people, that only have in commun is be exposed to the technology, and that only makes me think what is the potencial danger that makes us have the same problem. 1 Identifiable Informative
I really enjoyed this. Honestly this gave me a new perspective. Thank you so much for the nice 15 minute video on the Millennials and how electronics are "taking over." I had an amazing experience going on a court for kids trip to Nicaragua. The first rule was NO PHONES. It was amazing to experience a week with out them. We all didn't really know each other and to be honest it was kind of awkward but then when we were in Huston airport we decided to get to know each other and figured out our names and finally started talking. 1 New Perspective Transformative
Really good explanation of why things are like they are today.. I was born in the 60s and when I started to work there were conversations and card-playing going on during breaks. Today there is only silence and people staring down at their phones.. No social interactions at all. Really sad and depressing in my honest opinion! 1 Good Explanation Emotional Impact
This is so true we have 2 that suffer anxiety and low self esteem it's hard to get them to change, but they will because we are persistent. So new parents take this in it is so true, make sure you have a meal together every day around a table with no phones then inspire everyone to have a conversation 1 Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem Emotional Impact
Oooof, the part about deep meaningful relationships and people cancelling as soon as something better comes along hit hard. I may be jaded, but this has largely been my experience with people, they do not commit to any plans, it's usually a maybe and they won't blink to flake out. 1 Jaded Emotional Impact
This video is very interesting! I am a millennial, but I think it is difficult to define people with one word. I don't think that I am a typical millenial. I want to share this video with my students and ask them for their opinion. 2 Not Typical Millenial Negative Emotion
My biggest issue (with myself, in relation to this video) is that my mind tends to constantly go. I'm usually the quiet guy in the corner who notices a lot of things that could be noticed in the room. Because my mind has a constant need for stimulation, I find myself being fidgety and needing to do something with my hands. 2 Need for Stimulation Negative Emotion
Thank you Simon Sinek! I listen to your genius ideas every chance I get and it demonstrates a new intellectual perspective each time. 1 New Perspective Transformative

I love this came to research about millennials and he just blew me off cause everything he said is on point. 1 On Point Emotional Impact
This video made me sad. I fall in this demographic, and what he is saying is exactly the same sentiment I've had growing up. I don't talk about it either because I feel like it's my own shortcoming, and I'm still reluctant to believe in this sentiment. I'm suspicious about how much of my life is self determined against chaoticness. 1 Sad Emotional Impact
Literally started tearing when he talked about the worse case scenarios...its allll true 1 Teary-Eyed Emotional Impact
I haven't cried in the last 6 or 7 years but I almost teared up for what he said at 11:20. I am 23 and I tried to commit suicide at the end of 2019. The reason: pressures of the corporate world. 1 Crying Emotional Impact

He doesn't see how unique our generation is. We are our strongest critics and we are constantly wanting change to challenge ourselves. I was born March 1990 and i am glued to my phone but it doesn't mean I have no social skills or it's ruining my relationships. We are adapting to new things better than most generations. Also, now with this pandemic you will see just how much change we can make. What if Millenials are no different than any other generation? What if we keep complaining about the same thing about each new generation using the new technology and the same parenting as reasons for the differences?
