Qualitative research generally aims to explain a phenomena. The researcher must be able to employ strategies such that information extracted from data collection are able to describe the phenomena in great extent. The researcher should be able to subsequently express the findings and its conceptual terms. The following extracts from a memo. "What is going on here? I have came up with a guideline of petty cash disbursement for this department, but apparently it is not followed by the cashier... The guideline can also be extended to others.... If they follow strictly, leakages can be controlled" The above statement put me in a position where I can answer the question of what is going on here.
