Question 1 (2 points) Saved A qualitative research study was conducted by XYZ Bank on 10 customers to find out user experience and user preferences for its mobile banking app. XYZ Bank want to obtain indepth information from this study to help deliver better services and improve customer experience. Figure 1.1 below shows a transcript of a qualitative interview with Participant A who is one of the 10 participants in this study: Figure 1.1: Interview transcript Interviewer: Thank you for agreeing to spare me some time for this interview. I am doing a study on consumers of XYZ Bank to find out user experience and preferences for mobile banking app. Interviewer: What do people think about current mobile banking app? Participant A: I don't know what other people think but my view is that the current banking app has made life so much easier. Interviewer: Why are you using XYZ Bank's mobile banking app? Participant A: A friend recommended me to this app. Interviewer: Was using XYZ Bank's mobile banking app for the first time easy? Participant A: Yes. Interviewer: Would you rate the usability of XYZ Bank's mobile banking app as good? Participant A: Yes. Interviewer: According to IBM, "ease of use may be invisible, but its absence sure isn't'. Do you agree with this statement in your use of mobile banking app? Participant A: I don't really understand your question..umh.I supposed so. Interviewer: Do you believe that using XYZ Bank's mobile banking app made you more efficient? Participant A: Efficient in what sense? Interviewer: I wasn't given the definition of 'efficient" by my supervisor in charge of this project. I guess efficient' means you feel good about using the mobile banking app. Participant A: Err..my answer is 'yes' then. Interviewer: Is privacy important to you when you use mobile banking app? Participant A: Yes. Interviewer: How would you rate your overall satisfaction with XYZ Bank's mobile banking app? Are you completely dissatisfied, mostly dissatisfied, somewhat dissatisfied, neither satisfied or dissatisfied, somewhat satisfied, mostly satisfied and completely satisfied? Participant A: I can describe my overall satisfaction with this bank's mobile banking app but since you have given me a range of satisfaction level to choose from. I select 'somewhat dissatisfied' as my response. Interviewer: Thanks for your answers. This is the end of my interview.
