(a)(ii) You are the BIM manager for a construction project, you need to convince your project team regarding adoption of Building Information Modelling. In order to put up a convincing argument, you need to outline the benefits of adoption of Building Information Modelling. What are the benefits that you will identify to put up a convincing case for BIM.
(b) You have been appointed as the facility Manager for a newly constructed project. The main contractor has shared the as-built BIM model with you and your team. The Owner of the project has requested for implementation of BIM for facility management purposes. You need to identify how would BIM and FM integration would be beneficial for the Owner of the project. In addition, you also need to appraise the benefits of BIM-FM integration during the building lifecycle.
