Mary did not have enough money to pay for all the items at once. She, therefore, entered into an agreement with the shop owner, one Mr. Arthur, to pay the outstanding amount owed in five installments. However, after paying the first installment, Mary fell into arrears The two parties then entered into another agreement under which Mary was to work for Mr. Arthur for a year without any salary to make up for the debt. Mary has started working, but the work is affecting her school activities to the extent that she was last in her class. Mary's father has approached you as a student of contract.
