As at 1 February 2018, Haarlem has the following shares in issued: 950.8 million ordinary shares, 138.7 million 5.4% preference shares, and 146.5 million irredeemable preference shares. On 30 October 2018 Haarlem made a 2-for-9 bonus issue. On 1 November 2018: Haarlem issued 48.3 million 7.5% convertible loan stocks at par which are convertible into ordinary shares in future as follows: Year ended 31 January No. of ordinary shares per RM100 loan stock 2023 250 2024 257 2025 262 On 31 March 2019: Harleem granted five directors an option for 850,000 shares each exercisable at RM7.25 per share. The options can be exercised between 1 February 2025 to 31 January 2026. The average fair value of one ordinary share during the period was RM7.84 per share. On 1 June 2019: Haarlem made a 4-for-5 rights issue at RM7.63 per share. The rights issue was fully taken up. The fair value of one ordinary share immediately prior to the rights issue on 29 February 2020 was RM8.12. The basic earnings per share (EPS) of Haarlem for the year to 31 January 2018 was 45.57 sen. The income tax rates for years ended 31 January 2019 and 31 January 2020 was 24%.
