Question 1: How is the implementation of an ERP system in a hospital different from that in a company and what are the similarities between the two im plem entations ? {up to +- 450 words) El Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a comprehensive system which can unite all the activities of hospital management under a single software or platform especially nowadays with the cloud being present more and more in our lives and businesses. First of all lets list the differences between the ERP Management within Hospitals and companies and secondly lets list their similarities. Difference(s) between ERP System in Hospital Management and in Companies: i) The ERP helps hospital management to unify and put together all the information and functional activities ii) ERP unites back office work with the hospital management that deals with patients and other units ofthe hospitalsystem. iii) In hospital or healthcare system the main motto of ERP is to provide better services for the patients and smooth functioning between doctors, nurses and other hospital authorities or units. iv) The ERP is used in company to unite its all financial activities for better management of resources and employees. v) The main functional activities of ERP in hospital management is mostly oriented in patient record system, doctor record system, drugs department, inventory, outpatient department, emergency department, the working and coordination units and all these must be and is in real time by the guidance of the ERP system. vi) In case of company, ERP system deals with human resource management, inventory management, financial management, business management, production management, etc. vii) Both the system deals with different sets offunctions i.e. in an ERP system their focus is different
