Question 1 (Marks: 20) Read the scenario below and answer the questions that follow: After operating her dry-cleaning business, Clean and Sparkling, in the suburbs of Pretoria for three years, Mandy feels ready to expand to other parts of Gauteng, with the intention to go national over the long-term. The call-and-collect service she added during the Covid-19 lockdown, had catapulted her business to unexpected heights and the business is now a formidable player in the area. Being an accountant by profession, she realises that she will need to learn a bit more about business before she embarks on this expansion. Mandy's major concern is that she is not learned enough in matters of business strategy, and even though she has managed to get the basics right in the past three years, she does not want to take unnecessary large-scale risks, while on the other hand, she does not want to miss out on significant growth opportunities. Q.1.1 Analyse any three resources, as a component of the internal business (12) environment, that Clean and Sparkling will need to utilise to deliver goods to customers effectively and efficiently. Note: you are required to identify the resources and then relate each to Clean and Sparkling.
