Question 1: Provide information about the number (and percentage) of sampled SCSU students that are aware ofvarious food and/or beverage services that were available on SCSU campus in Spring 2017. Also rank them in order of the number of students that are aware of these food and/or beverage options. Remember to use the"frequency" and the "valid percentage" columns in the outputted frequency tables against relevant variables to get the frequencyand percentage figures respectively.
To accomplish this:
- In SPSS, use the steps Analyze - Descriptive Statistics - Frequencies and include16 consecutive variables in the analysis; i.e., include all variables from "AMarketexpress" to "AOnthego" These variables begin just after the variable "ID" in the dataset.
- Develop a single table that includes 3 columns with the following column headings: (1) Food/Beverage Options, (2)Frequency (and Percentage), and (3)Ranking
- Provide your comments after the table to complete the description/comparison.
Question 2. Provide information about the number (and percentage) of sampled SCSU students that used various food and/or beverage services that were available on SCSU campus in Spring 2017. Also rank them in order of the number of students that used the various food/beverage service options.Remember to use the"frequency" and the "valid percentage" columns in the outputted frequency tables against relevant variables to get the frequencyand percentage figures respectively.
To accomplish this:
- In SPSS, use the steps Analyze - Descriptive Statistics - Frequencies and include16 consecutive variables in the analysis; i.e., include all variables from "UMarketexpress" to "UOnthego."
- Develop a single table that includes 3 columns with the following column headings: (1)Food/Beverage Service Used, (2)Frequency (and Percentage), and (3)Ranking
- Provide your comments after the table to complete the description/comparison
Question 3. Provide information regarding the 3 most frequently mentioned food service options (not available in Spring 2017) that the sampled SCSU students would prefer to see offered on SCSU campus.
To accomplish this:
- In SPSS, use the steps Analyze - Descriptive Statistics - Frequencies and includethe variables "Prefernew1", "Prefernew2", and "Prefernew3"in the analysis.
- Develop a single table that includes 3 columns with the following column headings: (1) Top 3 Preferred New Food Services, (2) Frequency, and (3)Ranking.
- Develop a bar-chart that facilitates comparison using EXCEL.
- Provide your comments after the table and chart to complete the comparison
Question 4. There are a total offourteen variables in the data-set that refer to potential reasons why the sampled SCSU students used a certain food service most frequently during Spring 2017, These variables aremeasured using a five point interval scale anchored by 1 = "Completely Disagree" and 5 = "Completely Agree." Your task is to describe student responses to thesevariables.
To accomplish this:
- Use the Analyze - Descriptive Statistics - Frequencies sequence in SPSS for the variables: "MFoodseating"to "MFoodlike." After you have selected the14 variables, click on the "statistics" button to indicate that you want the means and standard deviations for the variables. Also indicate that you want bar charts/pie chartsfor the variables.
- Develop a table that includes these variables.Do not forget to include both frequencies and percentages against all variablesfor allscale alternatives. Use the relevant columns from frequency tables available in the SPSS output. Refer to example in class.
- Also provide bar charts that visualize the above information (If you want you can replace a couple of bar charts with pie-charts; remember to use percentages in pie charts). You should end up with a total of 14 charts.
- Provide written summaries describing each of the 14 variables (include mean, standard deviation, information from table, and information from chart for each variable)
Suggestion: You should consider highlighting (bold, bigger font) those frequencies and percentages that you are going to emphasize in your written description. Also, you can have the table (remember title and number) on top and then follow that up by bar charts and descriptions for each variable.
Note: Just as in the first assignment, this assignment has several components - (1) the cover page, (2) the tables, charts, and descriptions that provide required information, (3) All SPSS output. Also, remember to title and numberall tables and charts so you can reference them appropriately in your written descriptions. please send me your email so i can send the remainin documents that i could not upload it on here. my email is [emailprotected]
