QUESTION 1 The two-stage RC coupled transistor amplifier is recommended for increasing the gain of network. The constructional details of a two-stage RC coupled transistor amplifier circuit are as follows. The two-stage amplifier circuit has two NPN transistors, connected in common emitter configuration and a common DC power supply Vcc of 12 V is used. The potential divider networks R11, Riz, R1, R22 and the resistors Rc1, Rc2, RE, REZ form the biasing and stabilization network. The emitter bypass capacitors CE and CE2 offer a low reactance path to the signal. The resistor R is used as a load impedance. The input capacitor Cin present at the initial stage of the amplifier couples AC signal to the base of the transistor. The output capacitor Co is connected between the output of the transistor and the load. The capacitor Cc is the coupling capacitor that connects two stages and prevents DC interference between the stages. Table Q1 lists down the components and parameters used.
