Question 18

18. Ben has worked in the customer relations department of an electricity company for the past 15 years. He has recently not been happy with his Boss because he did not get a raise this year due to economic uncertainty in the Canadian economy. However, there are currently no signs that the company is going into financial difficulty and has achieved record breaking sales this year. Ben oversaw customers who cannot pay their electricity bills and negotiate a reasonable settlement with them. His Boss usually reviews the claims, but he is on vacation for the next 2 months. So Ben decides to not pay his electricity bill at home and "negotiate" with himself a settlement of $0.01 for those two months that his boss was away (10 marks).
