Question 2: 0 V/t) It) Ft) 4M E X(t) Figure 2.1: An electromechanical system representation. Consider an electromechanical system given above with the following parameters. Parameter Value Parameter Value 12 kg Ns/m N/m H N/A (3) F(S) a. Obtain the transfer functions of To(s) = 1 and Tm5) = for the electrical and mechanical subsystems, respectively. After that plot the pole-zero map for both systems on the same figure (using different colors). b. It is known that F(t) I(t) is the relation between the electrical and mechanical X(3) systems. According to this, find the transfer function of G(s) = ** Calculate the V() approximate overshoot, settling time and peak time of the open-loop system using both formulas and stepinfo command and compare the results. c. Construct the given electromechanical system in Simulink with the help of Simscape modelling library. Apply a step input (V(t) = 1V) to the system and compare the outputs of the physical system and transfer function you have found in 2.b. Also, provide a screenshot in which the prepared simulation environment is clearly shown. d. Use linear system analyser tool in Simulink to find the transfer function of the system. Compare the result with the one you have obtained in 2.b (Hint: Choose a continuous- time solver)
