The business uses the perpetual inventory system. a) b) c) On 9 June, a debtor who owed Solid Wood Furniture an amount of R41 400 (VAT-inclusive) was given an 8% settlement discount. He promptly settled the full amount that he owed. On 13 June, the owner of the store took a sofa set, which was for sale, home for his personal use. This sofa set had a selling price of R12 075 (VAT-inclusive) and a mark-up on cost of 50%. On 20 June, the business sold goods on credit. These goods had a cost price (VAT-inclusive) of R644 000 and a mark-up (on selling price) of 80%. (Only account for the sales.) On 28 June, the business bought a kettle for staff use. This kettle cost R345 (VAT-inclusive) and was paid for from cash on the premises. On 30 June, the business was credited interest of R271.40 on a fixed deposit amount of R30 000.
