Question 2 (a) On 1 January 2022, Michael proposed to sell a computer to Lola at RM3 000. It was stated in the proposal that acceptance must be made at the latest by 15 January 2022. Lola wrote a letter to Michael accepting the proposal and posted the said letter on 5 January 2022. Meanwhile, Michael received a letter from Kim offering to buy the said computer at RM3 800. On 6 January 2022, Michael called Lola to revoke her offer. Since Lola was not at home, Michael left a message with Lola's wife, Fiona. Unfortunately, the letter of acceptance by Lola was misdirected, and it reached Michael on 16 January 2022. Fiona had forgotten to inform Lola about the revocation and only told him on 8 January 2022. Advise Lola. (10 marks) (b) Blake, aged 17, was preparing for his SPM. He decided to rent a room at Hotel MITC for two weeks. The total room charge was RM5 000. Blake informed the hotel manager that his father would pay for the hotel bill. However, when the hotel manager demanded payment from Blake's father, payment was refused. Advise the hotel manager. (10 marks)
