One of the associations that study investigators were interested in was whether or not BMI values measured during adolescence were associated with an increased risk of mortality later in life. The table below is an abbreviated version of one of the published tables from this study.

a. Create a 2 x 2 table to describe these data where your outcome of interest is the number of deaths and you are interested in estimating incidence rates and incidence rate ratios (e.g.; use person-time instead of the number of people).
