Question 2 Based on initial data analysis, there is a statistically significant difference when looking at feelings of warmth towards liberals among people who were interviewed in different geographic regions of the United States. Given the data provided, a t-test makes the most sense since four different data groups are being compared to one another. Furthermore, ANOVA and the Chi-Square test of independence may be used to determine whether or not two or more variables are likely to be related. A t-test is the best inferential test for this data because of the interval-ratio data supplied and the data obtained using a Likert-type scale.
