Bhd., it is stated that either party who wishes to terminate the contract ofemployment should give 2 months prior notice to the other party.

One day, for no apparent reason, her employer told her to pack up her belongings and notreturn to the office anymore. Her employer gave no proper notice and no reason on why shewas terminated. Iris was shocked and devastated. She seeks your advice on:-

(a) Her rights as an employee under the Employment Act 1955.
