Received an invoice for laundry supplies purchased worth RM10,000 on terms 1/15, n/30. Issued invoices to Soft Laundry, for laundry supplies sold worth RM5,500 on terms 2/10, n/30. Paid RM900 for import duties by cheque. 19 Soft Laundry returned damaged supplies worth RM500; a credit note was issued. Neathra received credit notes from her suppliers for damaged and expired laundry supplies returned worth RM3,000. 25 Soft Laundry paid in full the amount outstanding by cheque. 29 Paid suppliers by cheque in full settlement for purchases made on 15 January. Purchased more laundry supplies worth RM4,500 paying by cheque. 31 Paid salaries by cheque to 5 sales staff RM2,500 each.
