Check No. 123, listed with the canceled checks, was correctly drawn for $1,563 in payment of a utility bill on July 15. Abdulla Company mistakenly recorded it with a debit to Utilities Expense and a credit to Cash in the amount of $1,536. b. Outstanding checks as of July 31 total $1,500. c. It is noted in the bank statement that an amount of $400 is directly credited in the bank account as interest income, this has not been reported in the company's cash book. Required: Show adjusted balance in cash book and prepare a bank reconciliation statement
