Customers returned goods (amounts due to Delilah reduced by $1,500). Returned goods to suppliers (amounts due to suppliers reduced by $1,100). Wrote off $800 of receivables as uncollectible. Received $6,200 cash as collections on account (no recoveries/discounts). Received $430 cash as a bad debt recovery (no discounts). At month end (1-31-20), Delilah estimates uncollectible accounts receivable. As a result of their estimate, Delilah will report $345 bad debt expense for January 2020.
