Question 3: Taxi Time!

D enters the front seat of P's taxi at the station and says, "Take me to the university, please." On arrival at the university, D refuses to pay the $22 fare that is on the taxi meter, stating there is no valid contract because there is no good consideration. P says I drove you, now pay up. D, a third-year law student, says the consideration of P driving him to the university was past consideration - because he is now at the university - and that past consideration is not good consideration.

Issue: Is D correct that there is not good consideration by P in this case?
