Question 4) The rst audit of the nancial statements of Deil company was completed for the year ended December 31,2020. During the audit, the auditor found that certain transactions were recorded incorrectly during the last three years. These Items are: (a) At the beginning of 2018, the company purchased a dump truck for $120,000 (salvage value of $30,000) that had useful life of 6 years. Dell company correctly used straight-line deprecation but failed to deduct the salvage value in calculating depreciating in 2018, 2019, and 2020. (b) The company failed to accrue salaries in 2019 or 2020; $20,000 of the salaries should have been accrued at the end of each year. (c) Dell company purchase a patent from another company in early 2019 for $60,000. Dell had not amortized the patent because its value had not diminished. The patent has useful life at purchase of 30 years. Instructions Prepare the journal entries necessary in 2020 to correct the financial statements, assuming the books have not been closed yet in 2020. Disregard effects of corrections on income tax
