Lola works at a large retailer and is an avid ice skater who skates competitively.

Lola promises to be a very good skater and has aspirations for a professional career. Next week is the national Championships for which she has been very excited. Last night, Lola went down to the ice skating rink to practice, where she fell and broke he ankle.

Investigation has revealed that there was fault with Lola's ice-skates. She is no suing the shoe manufacturer, SnowTwinkle for negligence. SnowTwinkle isn't happy. They go to the head of quality control, Lucas and ask what happened. Lucas looks for somewhere else to place the blame and tells management 'The fault rests with John. He is incompetent, has no idea what he is doing and is lazy.' John is an assistant quality control manager. he is eighteen. He has never had a job before. His uncle fixed him with the position at SnowTwinkle as he knows the owner. He has no training or expertise and SnowTwinkle knows this. During the interview they told John they would teach him what was necessary but when he started on the job, he was given no training and was told to go over there and make himself useful. John is very worried. He thinks he will get fired.
