Question 7 In June 2012, Mona obtained a Perodua Myvi 1.5 SE (the vehicle) under a hire purchase agreement with UMLC Finance Bhd. Mona paid the first 6 months of monthly instalments but failed to pay the following instalments. On 1" January 2013 UMLC's agent went to Mona's house to repossess the vehicle. Mona had kept the vehicle in a locked garage. UMLC's agent broke the locks of the garage to get the vehicle. UMLC later served the Fifth Schedule Notice on Mona on 4" February 2013.
