Question: Explain and analyse the leadership style or styles that resonates with you

A leadership style that resonates with me is based on the observation and research with my leader, Jane. I have picked two leadership styles I can identify with regarding effectiveness. The first is transformational leadership, which resonates with my style of leadership; this is where I lead by example and role modelling. This style builds relationships and involves the team making decisions, creating a positive work environment. This can create an environment where employees work together, Al Harbi et al., 2019). This strengthens your relationship with your team, builds trust with your leader, and encourages open communication as demonstrated by(Grantham-Caston & DiCarlo, 2023). The second leadership style is intentional leadership, where I believe motivating and giving positive feedback, as mentioned in both styles of leadership, are effective, and they have been proven to be effective in different setups. This is based on the research done by (Nicholson and Maniates, 2015); leadership style refers to a unique behavioural approach to how individuals guide, direct and mentor people. As suggested by Waniganayake et al.(2017),behaviour here refers to all learned, habitual responses, including learning attitude and action responses. Different leadership styles can have an impact on how followers behave and the impact they have on overall efficiency. Heikka et al. (2016),argue that leadership such as the one identified above is a dynamic process that includes everyone in understanding.
